The north sea operators' Claims Conference - NSOCC - is an annual forum for discussing matters of common interest to North Sea, Baltic and Irish Sea operators.

Since 1976, we have met annually with the aim of sharing knowledge and experience and we pride ourselves with the interaction between the delegates as a very important social element of the conference.

The 45th Session will take place in Glasgow from 9th to 11th October 2023 (with the option of arriving on the 8th) co-hosted by INCE and Partner Stefanie Johnston & by Brookes Bell and Director Kieran Dodworth.

The 44th Session has been held on October 10 to 12, 2022 in Norway on board MS Color Magic Oslo-Kiel-Oslo hosted-sponsored by Color Line Marine AS (Sandefjord) and Sartori & Berger (as agents for Color Line GmbH, Kiel).

About the NSOCC

Since 1976, we have met annually with the aim of sharing knowledge and experience and developing best practice across areas, such as claims management, standard trading conditions, bills of lading terms and the handling of hazardous goods.

Each year the conference is kindly hosted by a NSOCC member in their home country, with recent conferences taking place in Ipswich, Helsinki, Oslo, Antwerp, Chatham, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Durham, Rotterdam, Hamburg and Palanga, and we always aim to keep the cost for attending this 'not for profit' conference affordable.
